Super quick question. The capacitor in series with the primary coil on SSTCs is there strictly for DC blocking purposes, right? Therefore shouldn't be a value which resonates like with DRSSTCs? Thanks

Yes, make it much larger than the resonant capacitor.

So the capacitor is there to block DC and it's value sets Xc, right? So the size of the capacitor in effect will also change the LC's circuit's impedance, which affects the current drawn. Now the circuit's loop impedance is basically XL + Xc. Bigger capacitor smaller Xc...more current drawn. I see most designs around 1.3uF. Is that a good number for most full bridges? Thanks
