Man, we're in the wrong business. Someone should make clip on magnets treated with orgonite or some nonsense.

Add in some random 'rare' earth metal, thats worth at least another $100. "treated with gadolinium!". You could probably use old MRI contrast dye thats been excreted by patients. It'd be the Kopi Luwak of audiophools.

Yea, because normal sockets totally have so much resistance it sounds bad.

That is hilarious. This is like that magnet thing you put on your fuel line, except this is even worse. The fuel line thing that increased fuel efficiency at least had an explanation, even though it is unrealistic.

That sounds like pyramide power. You dont doubt the power of the pyramids, do you?

Ah, my chicken is done. It was cooked via a Wattgate 381, lets go see how good it tastes

Doubting the pyramid power is like doubting Oprah. Don't doubt her, she will have you destroyed.

Ringing on the gates of my drsstc almost vanished thanks to this plug. I love you so much, socket <3.

Shoot through is no longer a problem with my IGBTs mounted in these sockets, ideal switches for everyone!

That's so funny. It's just like people buying carbon comp resistors for their tube amps because it sounds so much better than the newer resistors. tongue

Actually, as opposed to most of the stuff discussed in this thread, carbon composition resistors can measurably and audibly change (distort) the signal, there's more info about it here Link2 . I don't think this is something you'd want in a Hi-Fi amp though, but in a guitar amp, where distortion is the goal, I suppose they could be beneficial.

Lots of funny reviews on that page. I went back to copy my favorites, but all the funny ones have been removed. I think it's quite shocking how they removed all the reviews that weren't in favor of the product.

I now get 10ft sparks thanks to this socket!! It sure beats the 2" spark I was getting before! Looks great off my 9" coil.
