My first SGTC

Hi, this is my first post. My 1st SGTC -


Parametres:

Primary - diameter 45cm, 4mm wire diameter, 10 windings
Secondary - 65mm diameter, 50cm long, 1600 windings, 0,25mm wire diameter
High voltage supply - NST(Made in Italy) - 10kV/65mA
Spark gap - 6x copper pipe 15mm diameter, cca. 10cm long, two coolers
MMC - 20x pulse capacitor ICEL 0,22uF/1200V DC

Normalne jsem ho zakoupil v elektrotechnickem velkoobchode. Bylo celkem drahe - cca. 4000 CZK - dnes 155 EUR
In english - I normally buy it in wholesale - price cca. 230 USD - this is on the whole wery expensive

It is great to have another guy from Czech Rep. on the forum.

Nice coil indeed! It's a pitty you didn't bring it to the latest Czechoslovak teslathon...

BTW: I have exactly the same NST at home. I'm surprised you can get such a cool performance from it. Great motivation - soon I will start some SG project with it.
