Hi guys, I decided to try a simple PW audio modulation of my odd single switch SSTC On the video below it runs only 30% of max power, but it is very loud anyway. Of course the distortion is huge, but it is a cool fun anyway… I’ll try the full power soon (I had stop because of my wife ); hopefully my transistors and transils will survive.

Ok, probably not so exiting... Anyway, I increased the power a bit and this time a hooked a microphone to the coil...It sounds like some crazy vocoder and it is really loud… For the full power I’ll have to wait to be home alone, than I will sing for you

The design of my coil is not DC compatible... And honestly, it is not my point to get a CW based plasma sonic like hi-fi coil with tiny sparks...I want the right opposite - something really loud with big sparks and brutally distorted
BTW: For a good sound I have a pair of 200W 2-way Celestion speakers and NAD amplifier...
