Here are some mystery tubes in the September 12 "estate sale" I'm helping with. My Internet search efforts have failed to bear fruit. Would welcome identification hints and/or offers to buy. Thanks -Rich
1. Hitachi x-ray tube for panoramic exposure (pipeline weld inspection?) or just a big kenotron? Heavy anode suggests a substantial forward voltage drop.
2. GE kenotron? In a quick test I got only a few microamps through at 500 volts. Vf, If notes aren't here right now.
3. RCA tube, looks like CRT but no phosphor screen apparent (?)
4. RCA image intensifer -- any hints on operating voltages between the 3 terminals?

The first two tubes are rectifiers from x-ray machines.
The RCA tube is a "Charactron", used to print characters on TV images, like a ye olde character ROM! It has a metal screen inside with characters etched through. The electron beam scans whichever character is selected, and the video signal of that character is picked off from the top cap.
The last one looks very similar to the RCA-6032 image converter tube, in which case, the "screen end" requires +15kV, the opposite end is at 0V, and the middle electrode is focus, probably at a 1kV or so.
