Hello to everyone and anyone that's been hoping to hear from me! smile

From Pig 'Flu I went on to develop feverish bronchitis - a common outcome in the very old - and have spent much of the last week in bed.

But today I am almost up and about, and will get off the various bits and pieces I have promised HV folk by the end of the week.

Keep those kilovolts flowing,

best wishes, and megasieverts to all,

Harry.

Excellent news that you are recovering.

I have just taken this picture where nothing has happened since the end of the ice age, not a single virus in sight and health in every lung full of fjelluft. Hopefully it will inspire you to get on your feet again.

Looks like a good place to do some meteorite prospecting.

Glad to hear you're better, Harry. I'll email you a large dish of rømmegrøt, and you'll be on your feet in no time cheesey

I was going to suggest some lutefisk, but then I remembered that we're trying to make him better, not worse.

Thank you so much for all your good wishes, also to those who have sent kind messages in PM and emails.

To: Bjorn> I have seen so many scenes, walked so often over such ground in Norway like the one in your photograph I could not have guessed where it was exactly, but I know that I should want to be there, and breathe in that pure northern air.

To Chris> I'm happy enough to eat lutefisk, but this is a dish left from the times when Norway was a very poor country, and lutefisk was a way of making rock-hard dried cod edible. A much better forbidden Norwegian food is Minke whale beef, which I can assure you is excellent, and has none of the 'fishiness' I found with even the best cuts of seal meat when I was l working as Radio Inspector for Kaalalitt Nunaat (Greenland) Home Rule Government.

Meteoriotes: is it the opinion of geometricians alone that a meteorite/ meteor found in this place or that can only have come from Mars, with its burden of posssible micro-fossils? Are deductions about where the meteor came from simply a matter of dynamic trigonometry?

So the life of the mind goes on, and Pig 'Flu tried to kill me off, but didn't quite succeed on this occasion.

Best wishes to all,

Harry
