I have an SSTC setup in which the driver is a manually adjusted frequency oscillator which drives the GDT of a full bridge. The full bridge is powered by an isolated transformer. The question is, when i adjust everything such that it is functioning, why is it when I reverse the polarity of the primary coil or the GDT input does it barly work at all. Note: re adjusting the frequency does not cause it to work. Since there is no feedback, and it is fullwave squared AC, i can not come up with any simple explanation.
