Hi Guys!

A few days ago, I finished my first DRSSTC. Its a simply 74hc14-sekondyry bottom feedback, a Driver with UCCs and a fullbridge of IGBTs.
The coil is 11cm*20cm with 0.2wire.
Now I decided to audio moulate the teslacoil.
I build the switching from this site: Link2 (u can find the circuit under Projekte/DRSSTC/Musical DRSstc)
Well, it didn't work. I must say: I used the NE555 instead of the LM555. And because they hadn't the LM741 on my electronicstore, I had a look on datasheets and decided to take the LM301 and the Lm4250 (i wanted to try which one works/ works better) because they have the same pin configuration with regard to the pins that matter.
Okay, the results are bad:
-no output
-the 100 O resistor gets hot
-the signal at the input of the OP Amp is just a sinus (I found out, the the signal coming from the MP3-Player becomes this sinus when I connect it to the Switching) usually the signal pulses to the rhyme of the music smile

Can anyone help??
Thanks smile

Greetings

I get the same think as you =(, and I never made it to work =(

I want also to know why is that, acording to Proteus ISIS, that circuit works, but I never made it to work as in ISIS.

I tested it and until the 741 output, everthing is fine, one the BC's nothing works.

mmh....oaky that's bad... frown

But I think it have to work...
the heaviest probleme to solve for me is that the music signal is at the input of the lm741 allready a Sinus.

Someone knows why?

I built and used reachings/ctc-labs audio modulator for my audio modulated sstc, never had problems, so the schematics are certainly good fine :)
