I put my name in, just for fun. I miss the days of the Voyager Golden Record, though. Somehow names on a chip just doesn't seem as worthwhile. I guess anything that engages the public can't be too bad, though.

Indeed, my name is on this one (actually I believe it is on there twice, my aunt put everyone she could think of on it as well).
But I get to feel a little more special since I work at the plant which made the solar cells for the rover, and I saw it in the assembly process (abit from the viewing room in the jpl cleanroom). A career in solar FTW :)
