I am currently in the process of moving my shop into a 22,000SQFT building in the little town of Rocky Mount, NC. It's about an hour north east of Raleigh, NC and about an hour and a half south of Richmond, VA right off on I-95. I am considering hosting a thon out here but I have no idea if there are any coilers in NC state. I know there are a few in VA, but I need to get an idea as to whether or not it would be practical.
Any equipment would be welcome... I have three, 3ph 240V 600A services, two forklifts, a loading dock, a loading ramp, and 20' ceilings.
As far as time goes, I was thinking fall or spring, depends on what you guys reply with though.

I don't live in NC but my parents have over 100 acres of land and a house in NC, Bakersville to be exact so i might be able to go. I would bring along a couple DRSSTC's.

I live in Raleigh and would love to see a local thon. My only large-ish coil is in pieces under my bed now but I have a few desktop ones, some flybacks, CW generators, the makings of a Marx generator and I'm planning on building an 11" Wimshurst machine. What kind of shop do you have up there? Is it a personal workspace or business?

Sounds good, Roger. Right now it's looking like April or May of next year, but I will update this as the time gets closer.
Voltwad, I run my business out of this shop. I do Commercial R&D (SMPS, Induction heating, HV, etc.) and resell industrial equipment on the side. Obviously I also build all my HV toys in there too I'm glad to hear there is someone other than me building coils in NC, I was starting to think I was the only one...
