just found this, the concept is intriguing. Imagine a remote control that can also act as a pendrive, storing data in its working memory until needed :)

if combined with a flash based AVR or PIC, the circuit could be used as a general purpose device with multiple uses.

I'd be happy with them just using it to make TV's that can program a universal remote without having to look up codes or push the power button 50 times.
