Hi all.

Seems that Michael Jackson passed away of a heart attack last night, at UCLA.

It's all over the news here. Woke up at 6 and the first thing I hear on radio while driving to work is that Michael Jackson is dead.

I mean no offence to the deceased, but it's funny how a man suddenly becomes a saint after his death...

I agree 100 percent. Pink Floyd=Greatest Band of all time imo. Not even the Beatles come close. Truly was a sad day when Syd moved on.

However, Michael Jackson was a legend in his own right, can't say that I didn't dislike him, but he did get some respect from my side.

Michael Jackson is magnitudes more reknown than Pink Floyd. Pink Floyd may be big in Western Countries, but Michael Jackson is known EVERYWHERE - all over the world.

Michael Jackson's apex was in the early-mid eighties. His work then was truly phenomenal, it's what made him famous all over the world. I agree with Gigavolt, Jackson far outshone Pink Floyd on the world stage, however....

Michael then imploded and turned into a freak show. His homosexual pedophilia got out of control, he destroyed his face, he dangled his "child" (blond-haired blue-eyed) over a balcony railing, etc.

Here they are showing lots of pictures of him in his heyday of the early eighties, which is probably the best way to remember him and his music.

On to the future....

I was walking down to the grocery store in Westwood (city that UCLA is next to) yesterday and I saw 20 news vans and 4 helicopters flying around the UCLA medical center. I was thinking "What the hell happened" as I walked by. Then I heard that he had died.

I don't really feel any kind of a connection with him, as he's not from my era really, but it was funny being in front of the hospital when they rushed him in there.

You are crossing the line here, first of all, he was not a pedophile! Second "his homosexual pedophilia?
Okay?... So as long as it is with little girls it is all right then?...

Excuse me but... Seriously...

A great man died. May he be remembered for the great artist he really was.

My best suggestion for you is to Google "Jesus Juice".

I stand by my words, time will determine their veracity.

Michael Jackson was an artistic genius, and a phenominal performer who entertained tens of millions of people at the height of his career.
Great entertainment artist, absolutely. Great man, not so sure.
