Hi, I am going to build the Dan Maccally <sp> Stacatto SC2026 (3-6-03) while I have some down time. It has been boxed since 2003 parts from DigiKey. Is there any mods or enhancements I should know about?

I will be pulsing a 4X 833 when it is finally done. What would be a hearty SCR or triac selection for this application. Will I need a special driver for the gate?

should a vttc modulated by interupting the grid insted of lifting the filliments? wouldn't that be easier for larger vttc's
