This Uraninite sample was collected in southern Scotland UK.

This is almost pure Uraninite,(>95%) there is hardly any matrix present.
It weighs just over 10g, and is accompanied by a fact sheet, and is provided in an attractive vial.
It measures >7,000 CPM on CDV-700 Geiger counter, from outside the vial, and over 30,000 CPM, if removed from the vial.
A nice healthy active specimen! Way better than Radium hands.
Even so, as it is a natural ore, it is legal to own sell or post, so no worries there!
Could be used to make ideal check sources for your Geiger counters.
This is an ideal compliment to any mineral collection, or even element collection for that matter, and is certainly a talking point!

I have many more samples from the same area, of different sizes and activities, and some occurring with various other minerals. If you are interested in minerals like these, please PM me!

$30 each,shipping is FREE worldwide!

What is the gamma only, (shield closed) readings?
I see you also sell yellowcake. Do you make this yourself?

I I get 4.5 - 5 mR/hr with the shield closed. Yes I still have the Ammonium-di-Uranate available.

LOL er no I`m afraid not!

Besides, to make the Deuteride, one would have to pass Deuterium over finely divided metal powder at high temperature.
All that DNO3 would do to raw ore, is produce (UO2(NO3)2) and evolve D2 gas.

cheesey
