I want to get rid of some industrial control transformers (to prune my collection).
Maybe somebody here could use one to rapidly charge caps for a coilgun or something, safely isolated from utility power. $1.50 per pound + cost of postage. Photos on request.

#1: 460 V : 115 V. 60 Hz, 100 VA, 5.5 lbs. Insulation on external wires is about to crumble, but they can be replaced after opening a steel wiring enclosure..

#2: 480 V : 24 V. 60 Hz, 150 VA, 5 lbs. Screw terminal connections.

#3. 200,208,220,230,240,277,380,400,415,480 V : 24 V. 60 Hz, 50 / 105 (momentary) VA, 4 lbs. Screw terminal connections.

#2 and #3 could be used with a 120 V : 24 V transformer from the hardware store. I have a couple of those available too, 40 VA size with prongs to plug into wall outlet. 1.5 lbs.

$10.25 for USPS medium flat-rate box. Could hold 1, maybe 2 of these transformers.
Here are some pictures (it's much easier to put them here, than to edit them into original post).
