I requested some samples from Vishay and TI. Ti is out for delivery right now, but Vishay hasn't sent me a shipping confirmation yet? What gives? Should I just go get the parts from digikey or what...

When you order samples through Vishay website, they get transferred to your local sales rep who will contact you. They don't send direct samples like TI does.
