Thanks goes to my buddy Killa-X for the idea and help getting started. He made some songs and they sounded beautifully funny and cool, so i decided to give it a go.

Not necessarily what the program was made for, but i like to take MIDI files, and replace the instruments with .wav files, that can be just random noises.

I have so far only made one song, which i did not actually complete (i only used 4 instruments so far) which is Sweet Child o' Mine, by Guns and Roses. It does indeed sound like a sheep dying, but the point was not to make something that is nice to listen to, it is just fun and interesting and funny cheesey. For the lead guitar i used a sound Killa-X sent to me over MSN which i saved, the drum was some random bassy (is this a word) sound i found somewhere, the rhythm guitar is a duck sound Killa-X sent me, and the bass guitar is some bass guitar i found.

These are just simple wav files, the bass guitar file was a single note, as was the rest. The program FL studios takes these sounds and changes the pitch according to the MIDI file from what i understand.

FL studios can be downloaded for free at Link2 for a demo version. It will not expire, but you cannot save your projects. You can, however export as wav, MP3, and many others.

Anyway, here is the song i made, i intend to make more somewhere in the near future.

UPDATE: The file is too big, i will have to find an MP3 hosting website.

Here is the most annoying video/song you shall ever hear. Link2

Just a small song created with the above mentioned sounds, made in 10 minutes, which most of which was spent looking for .wav sounds.

I did most of my last tracks in FL studio, here are some d/l links.

Link2 (my 1st track in FL)

* these tracks are signed to a record company, so please do not share them and you should be buying them anyway tongue

If the d/ls do not work, try to click them once more, if that doesnt work you must wait about a day for the bandwidth counter to reset...

Sweet... Noise o' Mine tongue

Seems like a nice program, think i'll download and try it. If you instead of guitars and ducks use the sound of a tesla coil, could you simulate a TC consert?

Nice use of my most pethedic ipod touch application i bought. Rubber duck. I hear my duck in there! :D To anyone, Id recommend going to FL studios site, and get the demo of either Toxic or Poizone. Both are instruments with thousands of pre-sets for techno.
