at first when i had the idea of making an airsoft gun, it was to fend myself off from my fiendish friends. but now, it just seems like a lot of fun.
the goal: the goal of this project is to make a very powerful (400+fps) semi-auto airsoft gun that uses a regulated air source as cheap as i can possibly make it.
Planning and design: i know what i have, and i know what i want, so how do i get there. the regular gas airsoft guns use a type of gas that is not as powerful as CO2 nor is it as easily obtained. im going with CO2.
i want it semi auto, so either i would do expensive sensing(which i dont know much about) or come up with a mechanical solution. i choose mechanical. keeping it as simple as possible i come up with this design.
