Hi all. Here's an interesting problem for you. It seems that you can't get a good result with the Maplins photoPCBs on the laser, but they work fine on the UV LED array (rebuilt after a thermal runaway incident and is now attached to a heatsink with thermal pad).
Main problem seems to be lack of contrast and over , which I have read can be caused by incorrect developer concentration and/or composition. By trial and eror I ran into a formula based on 2% NaOH+NaHCO3 in DI water which partially works.
Any ideas? this is with printing acetate doubled up to take out any imperfections. Also, Philpem shared his knowledge on this subject, one of whih is to "use magic tape to hold the acetate sheets to the PCB as it doesen't shrink when heated"
