I think at the moment I have 10 or so cores running it (mostly dual core2's, 2 pentium Ms, 2 ARM processors). All I need now is a way to convince my scope it likes to play nice with linux and get the open source mplab usb bootloader a little more fleshed out under linux and I will be able to dump windows for good.

I'm currently running Kubuntu Jaunty. I switched from Gnome to KDE because KDE4 seemed stable enough. It's been very stable so far and I'm quite satisfied with it. I think I don't need Windows any more, because the new Kubuntu totally fills my needs (MTP, WMV streaming, etc.) and totally supports my hardware. I'll be sure to recommend Kubuntu to everyone who is interested in using Linux.

I run Ubuntu, Cluster/Parallel Knoppix, Backtrack (3 and 4 BETA), DSL(-N) all on various machines
I also currently am triple booting Ubuntu, Backtrack 4 BETA, and Windows Vista on my laptop (and I think I am going to make that a Quad boot very soon)... Windows Vista makes it surprisingly easy to dual/triple/whatever boot with Linux ^_^

I run Ubuntu on a dedicated computer along with dual boot on my laptop with XP. I have also been running a Debian server for approx 8 years that serves as my file/backup/personal web server via a static IP. (And in case you are wondering, it has not been the same hardware for 8 years...the server has been upgraded twice in it's lifespan)
