Last week I bought a used argon/krypton-laserhead without power supply for euro 36 (which is very cheap in my opinion ) on ebay. Unfortunately I had no specifications or other data like pinouts for this tube. So I had to scrounge the internet but there was not very much information about this particular laser head (it is similar to the omnichrome 643).
After some research I've found out the pinouts (with simple continuity tests ) and the most important data about the tube (tube-voltage about 180VDC @ 3.5 to 14A, filament power 3V @ 25A, igniter is powered from anode voltage). After that I made some modifications to power this head with my selfmade argon-laser-power-supply for the ALC-60 head.
Here are some first pictures:

Thank you for your kind feedback ...
Unfortunately I'm not able to measure the output power (no power measurement equipment). I would estimate the output power between 100 and 150mW, depending on the tube current. The tube seems not to be in a very good condition, but it works (red line is a bit weak, which is a sign for low pressure).
Now I have to rebuild my argon-laser-power-supply more definitively to power both lasers, the ALC-60X and the Melles Griot 643. It should be somewhat universal applicable, so I think I will build it with a selector to choose which laser head should be powered.
