I have to bolt up some large capacitors with M10 lugs, but have forgotten the correct sequence of parts.
At the moment I have, in order, from the threaded end of the bolt up (1) copper washer. (2) Beryllium copper spring/wave washer (3) lug (4) beryllium copper spring/wave washer (5) copper washer (6) stainless steel washer 4 (7) split lock washer. (8bis) thread lock compound

Is it necessary to sandwich the lug on both sides with a locking washer and a copper washer? I would think doing it on the top of the lug would be good enough with sufficient torque. If using good lock washers, I don't think thread lock is necessary.
If this is a high power/current capacitor bank, I would consider some electrical joint compound, like a Burndy Penetrox or similar which is an anti-oxidant paste and conductive as well. I've used it in the past on small cap banks that were prone to sparking upon discharge and it cured the issue.
