Careful, you should free up room on your workspace if you are going to be drawing arcs. Also I would still suggest using a better wand then a screwdriver. I like using a 3-4ft piece of white PVC ( ensure it doesn't have black lines on it as these can conduct electricity). It may seem a bit ridiculous but you can never be too safe!

Im gonna have to suggest that you do some reading on electrical safety and refrain from posting mishap videos. They only serve to make bad ideas about electricity and hobby electronics in the general public. (Don't brag about being dumb)

We've had these threads before, and they don't usually turn out too well. Usually someone posts a video of them doing something careless, then people start calling them idiots, and all hell breaks loose. I am tempted to close this thread right away, but I'll give it a chance before I bring out the padlock.

Hmm... maybe you should secure your HV wires and get a better chicken stick so that sort of thing doesn't happen? One thing about that incident is that some people might try to reach for something to quickly put out the fire and forget about some of the most basic high voltage safety rules. As you can see in the video, don't always rely on high voltage wire to protect you.
I have never had anything like that happen to me because I always use wood blocks to secure my wires so they don't move around. My worse accident was melting copper wire with an MOT arc and accidentally letting it drip onto my work surface. It burnt through the surface and a bit into the wood underneath. Lucky, the molten copper didn't fall off the table to where my feet were (in shoes of course). Now I use stainless steel nails for most places where there is an arc.
