hello all, im trying to build a drsstc (easternvoltageresearch) for the first time and have no idea where i can either buy some boards or get the artwork to make them. can someone give me some advice?
im not trying to build the mini brute thats the issue. i was after some specific boards for the bigger drsstc II thats in the book itself. but havent had much luck in finding them. unless im searching for the wrong thing.

Usually the driver is the same for all DRSSTC's, from little ones to bigger ones, the difference goes what current you want put at the primary coil... That changes the igbts that you use, and primary wire diameter (or copper tubing)
the mini brute is a half bridge system and the other is full dont really under stand this if im honest... i presume its just a few different components then. oh speaking of tesla coils got some serious lightning going on at the moment!

If you don't really know much about teslacoils I would stay away from DRSSTC's especially large ones they are quite troublesome to get working properly.

I recommend half-bridges as opposed to full-bridges for higher reliability and simplicity. The miniBrute design, which uses a half-bridge, can be scaled up for use with larger coils.
And as Mestre stated, the drive circuits are basically all the same from mini to giant sized DRSSTCs. Its just the power section (bridge) that varies, and usually its just the components in those bridges that vary (i.e. 40N60 IGBTs vs. larger CM600's, etc...)
i've got the boards now, (minibrute) just on the parts ordering now.. going by the building the modern day Tesla coil book as this is my first coil. any advice going slightly off topic.
