So my Physics Engineering teacher sprung on us we had to do a project concerning physics and do a 10 page write up on it. And it has to be done in about a month.... Yeah not cool.
Anyways, I am trying to get some input from you guys on what I could build. I was considering a DRSSTC since I've built one once already but they don't really have a practical use or purpose..atleast I don't think they do unless someone knows of one!
My other idea was building a variable frequency drive electric go kart, but in a months time that won't happen :p
Any ideas are helpful but I would like to stay in the power electronics realm. Thanks in advance!

How about an electromagnetic can-crusher? Or a coin shrinker?

Ehm, i guess they could be used to test lightning arrestors and surge protectors and such. A AMSSTC could be used as a loudspeaker, does that qualify?

Not very exciting;- a tool or instrument that will assist you in future
e.g a small induction heaer based on your drsstc experience a calibrated broadband high voltage probe a high voltage power supply, ...remote programming and monitoring of current and voltage etc.
someting along those lines...a tool/instrument and memento.
