I am about half way through breadboarding my DRSSTC cheesey
However, I have come across a few expressPCB boards, and was wondering if anyone else wanted to hop in and get a board? This might make things a whole lot easier than troubleshooting my driver etc.
Obviously after asking the permission of the person who designed it :P

Í think Steve Ward has some nice designs.
I would also jump in, but I think being european disqualifies me here.

I have to actually ask the original designers of the boards if it's ok, but I have a board that EVR posted on the old forum, and I think I have one of Steve Wards here somewhere too.
In no way does being in Europe (Or any other continent for that matter) preclude you from joining in on this.
I will quite happily post the board to you.

I have a working design that you are free to use, and it was designed to fit the express pcb mini-board service. See this directory:

Link2

There is no silk screen on the PCB, so you would have to figure out the part placement, but its relatively easy once you know what chip goes where (this is also easy since some chips are 8, 14, or 16 DIP). The schematic matches up with the board.

This board is designed for operation from primary feedback (but would work with secondary feedback, but i dont recommend it in general). It has active current limiting for the primary current. You have to stack the UCC3732X drivers if you want to parallel them... there is no problem with this as the heat generated by the chips is very low.

This is the same board that Christopher Hooper is using on his 10kVA DRSSTC (i designed the boards for his project, but they were designed as a general DRSSTC controller/driver).

All i ask is for a little recognition if you use my boards... Just mentioning that it was my layout is plenty.

This surprises none of us.
I'm elmer'd every time I come here, without the FUD.
Lol
Steve, looks like you may have a proliferation of bastard DRSSTC's around the globe. Thank you SO much for offering your board.

So, Who's in?
