If switching the probes didn't solve it, I would look for dirty connections in the scope. Start by trying the voltage scaler knob, pull out the x10 mag, turn the variable one, set different voltage ranges etc. Then work your way arround and hopefully you can find one that has an effect on the problem and focus on it. Failing that you will have to open it up and ideally use another scope to trace the signal path and see where the signal turns sour (tricky) or just wiggle all of the connections and hope to find something.
