Well, my SGTC has been apart for quite a while now. I figure if anyone wants the parts, I'd be willing to let go of them.
First up: The MMC. It's all soldered together, so I'll sell it in one piece. The caps are the ones the geek group was selling years ago. .1uF 2kV, they're supposed to be self healing (insulation expands to separate layers if they arc over internally.) Also if I recall correctly, they have low ESL/ESR because the axial leads connect to the entire roll of metal film, not just the end. There are 21 capacitors, 3 of which appear to have some damage from arcing to external objects. They worked fine in my coil, but I don't want anyone to be unhappy with their purchase. I paid $60 for these originally. I'll ask $20 for them now.
I also have a 15kV 60mA NST. It was purchased new, and aside from some grime it's in excellent condition. It was protected by a Terry Filter. I'll sell it for $20. Shipping will probably cost more.
I've got a pound or so of 24awg magnet wire that I used to make the coil. It's big stuff, not necessary for anything under a kilowatt. $5.
Finally, if anyone wants my secondary coil, they're welcome to have it for a token $5, just to make it worth my while to package it up. It's 28" of coil on a 6" green PVC pipe, with a thick shellac coating. The whole thing is probably 36" or so long. If you're interested, I can measure it out properly so you can figure out what shipping might cost.
Shipping expenses will be paid by the buyer. I live in Bowdoin Maine in the US, so keep that in mind if you're interested in the NST. I'll only be able to ship this stuff next week (I go back to school the week after), so speak up if you're interested!

Sounds like a good deal. I take the package if it still for sale. I will take care of the shipping if you pack it and bring it to a terminal. Do you think it will go under 50 lb?

It might be under 50lbs. It's 2am here and I'm about to go to bed, but I'll weigh it out for you in the afternoon.
Just to be clear -- you want everything? I'll see about shipping it all in one box, or distributed in multiple packages, we'll have to figure out what's cheapest.

If you can keep it under 50 lb we can ship it in one box. I will send you a pre-paid label as pdf since I most likely can buy shipping way cheaper than you can do as a individual.

The transformer itself is 50lb, measured on my bathroom scale. The other parts combined weigh less than that.
By the way, when I pulled the transformer off the shelf in my garage, I noticed that its case has developed some rust. It should be fine, but I'll let you take that into consideration.
