As I have mentioned before, this is an ongoing project for me. The tail on my turbine came loose during a storm and trashed my old blades, so I started making new ones.

I thought you might find it interesting to see one method for carving large wind turbine blades can utilize a chainsaw to get the initial profile. If you are interested, go to a web tutorial I wrote. When you get to the end there is a link to some YouTube videos showing me carving some of the blades. I think it is very interesting if you have never seen this stuff before.
