How does one find out about upcoming teslathons and their dates/locations? I always tend to hear about them after they're over. Are there any in the south?

Nice RV Chris shades

Just to remind folks that there will be a UK Teslathon this year in Derby on May 27. Barring major setbacks I intend to be there with Odin The All-Fragger Mark I to try and beat my personal best SSTC spark. (currently at 6ft 9ins) There should also be some big twin coils powered by a pole pig, and a whole load of other cool high voltage equipment and assorted geek toys.

From Glasgow to Derby is 300 miles each way and the trip usually ends up costing about $200, but hey it's only once a year :P

There may well also be one in Cambridge in October.
