I desperately need an anode cap for the 811a tube in my tesla coil. A lamp cord plus copper tape is just not cutting it. I have mic. high voltage capacitors, a lot of photo flash capacitors, a few extra power resistors for use in a small VTTC, vintage mica radio capacitors and other mic for trade. stuff. Just ask, thanks.

How soon do you need them? I have a ton at home, but if you are lucky you might get it shipped next week if your not lucky the week of march 9
Could you just solder a piece of wire to the top cap? Before I ordered my sockets I just soldered a wire to the very top of the top cap (being careful not to get it too hot or let the solder get on the sides), and when I got my socket I unsoldered the wire from the top and soldered it to the socket.

Perhaps you could make your own? I have had a few vacuum tube top caps for old TV's, and it is just a flat piece of metal, cut with three 'flaps'. the then folded the flaps down to fit over the cap, then covered it with the black insulator.
Since you would not be able to easily find the right metal, with the right memory, you could make one, and then use heat shrink to act as a spring to keep it tight on the cap. I don't know, just something perhaps worth trying.
