Hi, wich type of spark gab is the best one for long streamers?
My coil is 20cm in winding legth 7.5cm in diameter with 0.3mm coper wire.

I used a Static SG on one of my SGTCs, I got 30cm streamers to the air. But RSG's work better for medium power sgtc's. But thats depent of what flyback driver you will use it, I used ZVS Driver...

I made a small SGTC using a flyback, I had very interesting results, used a RSG and a ZVS driver ...

The video shows ZVS my driver, but the end shows the test with Tesla::-D

Aluminium Tubes will heat up quickly and can have problems, you can test it.
I was running my ZVS at 36V =D, with 24V I get 20cm sparks, soon I will post a video at youtube and post the project here.
I used for Static SG two Aluminium Heatsinks, it dont get much heat and works good. Alexandre helped me with that coil...
