Helo, i must make audio modulation for my sstc. I use this schema for build my sstc Link2 and this work but i know he is not very good schema. I dont have money :(. I bulit this:

78 1232884974 Thumb

80 1232885072 Thumb

50 1232885314 Thumb

This is efect for 130-150V in halfbridge.

68 1232836666 Thumb

I can make this with 555 generator ( 120khz (this resonant for my secondary) plis 74hc14) and this plus audio in tl494 and out tl494 plus mosfets drivers tc4421/22 ? Can you give me schema?

I can make use this shema but in feedback i give 120khz from 555, i change two tc4422 and tc4421 in one tc 4422 and one tc442- i give signal in this drivers in schema: Link2

Link2

Please help me ;)

To upgrade your SSTC to audio modulation You should give audio syg. on Q1(bc107) in place of interrupter. This should be good, but I don't really know, I think it should .

You should also add something to the top of your coil for break out. As it is it looks like the arc is burning your (pvc?) form. Either get a topload, or use a ring of say copper pipe or even some heavy gauge wire.

It will work but it will not work well. I recommend you going with the ucc series mosfet driver chips and putting the oscillation signal in the input pin and the audio into the enable pin. If you want even better results i recommend instead of the fixed oscillator you go with a antenna feedback design because streamer loading etc. will change the resonant frequency.

Maybe the circuit will work, but why an extra oscillator? You would not need more then one single 555 where you feed the audio signal on pin 5.

Teslacoolguy, I don't think an antenna would be able to get the signal, and if it will, it would properly be the wrong signal, a CT on the output would be much better.
But untouched flybacks would kneel if you every run them in resonance because of the huge current that would run through them.

BEEEP----------------------- This is wrong! I totally misunderstood everything I thought this was a flyback driver not a SSTC driver!
