I'm a new member and I used to be able to browse the wiki. Now I can't, I keep getting timeout/redirect errors. I'm not sure if this has something to do with the virus that attacked the site last week or some other reason. I'm not looking to modify the wiki, just search it.

There are some problems with the old wiki software so it must be upgraded to the latest version before it starts working.

In the meantime you can use google, add site:wiki.4hv.org to your search and click on the links that say "Cached" and you will be able to see the text of the pages.
