I once bought some 2" shop-vac extension hose at Lowes for about $20 Wrapped and wired it around a compact disc. Covered with aluminum tape. It worked. I think I got the idea from one of Steve Ward's compact designs.

Try the autoparts stores. Ask for heat riser, or heat stove hose. It goes between the air cleaner and a cover over the exhaust manifold. ~70's GM V-8's
