I'd be happy to sell my old secondary, it's wound with 21AWG wire, it's 4" diameter, and 30" long. I wound it by hand. If I had to ship it, it might make things quite a bit more expensive and kinda' ridiculous, as I'm hoping to get less for it than I would have to pay shipping it to the East coast. What I'm looking for is $50, but I'll consider any offers. It's enough to make a secondary coil out of a bucket for a magnifier, as I've tested in TeslaMap.
I don't want to throw it away, but for higher-power work it's kinda' useless. I also don't want to have to take all of the wire off myself, when I could just buy some. The inductance of this coil is extraordinary, but for higher powers the coil has failed to perform well. I didn't see any racing sparks, but there may have been arcing on the inside of the secondary, as the wires are held in place by being put inside.
