Does anyone know how to calculate the resistance of a charge capacitor at any given voltage. I'm designing some switches with LEDs that will get brighter as the capacitor charges. I know how to put everything in parallel but I would like to know how to find out what resistance I should use without just guessing and checking for each capacitor.

I was suggesting a simple voltage divider is a possible way to accomplish this. You connect the LED to v_out and it will stay off until v_out reaches the forward voltage of the led + a little bit. Then as the voltage rises on the bank the led will get brighter.
If you use this circuit, you may want to remove bleed resistors because this will bleed the bank pretty fast already.
the only problem is that as it reaches the highest voltages the first LEDs might start to get too much voltage, but this could be corrected by some zeners i guess?
