That is completely unnecessary. Think of complaints (i don't even know what your referring to you) as constructive criticism and use it to improve yourself.

What complaints?
Tomorrow you will be sorry about that. I tryed to left hv behind and starting collecting coins for a while, but the hv hobby got me again and now I am here with new projects.
I think that "the complaints" were just missunderstandings from your part or the others. Do you dont belive in the second chance?

There was an incident in the chat room, not very interesting and it does not affect the forum.

Hey, no reason to leave! So what if something happened. Have you not seen all the dumb stuff i have done? All the stupid, unsafe things that i have done that gave the forum a bad name? If someone says something you think is unfair or unnecessary, disregard it.

In short, don't leave. I value the friendship and comments etc of all members, that includes everyone. I am sure that many others feel the same way.

If you absolutely must, take some time away from the forum, and after awhile come back. I cannot even keep myself away from the forum for a week without wondering what people are talking about.

Many of us have left at times. Including me, and some of the most prolific and experienced posters like Steve Connor, Dan MaCaulay. Take a break, come back when you are ready.

Mostly it's because we had felt insulted or rejected, often over trivial stuff that made no sense to anyone else.
We don't hold grudges unless you have really lost the plot and repeatedly break rules and I don't think that is the case.
Take a break, your input is valued and we want you back.

Tom540: the link to jchat irc is broken. To get on irc, you'll need your own IRC client.

Nicely said Tesladownunder.
And contrary to what you may think, people don't really hold hard feelings or grudges. Communcation over the internet and forums in particularly, typically leads to misunderstandings which could have been cleared up in a 30 second face-to-face conversation. If you need to, just take a break and come back.

Plus, if everyone agreed with everyone 100% of the time, than there wouldn't be a point to having discussions in the first place!
