The old power source was a bigg OBIT, very heavy. The setup was re-done with a new lighter OBIT 5 kV@15 mA from a common cooking furnance. I took off a half of its shunts to get more current and changed the topload with a alu foil covered ball to get some fancy streamers wandering around the topload.

I dont know the power of the xfrm after I took off the shunts. I just took off half of them (they were 14, now thay are 7 left in place). I tryed it for each shunt removed and found a compromise between the transformer heating and the time to play. It heats enough after 2 minutes, but the sparks output is greatly improved versus xfrm with the shunts in place.
