 		Top Gear tested the Tesla Roadster today. Acceleration was fantastic, it comfortably outpaced the Lotus Elise upon which it is based. Handling and reliability left a lot to be desired though.

There was also a piece on the hydrogen fuel cell-powered Honda FCX Clarity, now on sale in California.

The programme is repeated on Sunday Dec 21st at 7PM, and also available on iPlayer
