Well it rips cans in half most violently and fires rings really high in the air so I`m guessing it`s pretty fast, I`ve not scoped the pulse though. It is ear-plug loud, especially with low impedance loads like water and wire-wool.

Isnt it more like 4kj in a bank with 50uf at 9kv?

My 18,5uF at 6kv is exactly 666j :D!

9kV is about 40J/uF but it`s actually 3 mots in series so a tad over that.

It`s 0.5*C*V^2. The area under the graph is a triangle.

try making a sealed liquid box opening all ur caps and removing the bleeder resistor and puting it all into ur box helps with cooling and explosins and id look into diodes on every cap sos it doesnt discrage into ur nafed cap and go to ur local repair dealer and/orsales person if u are lucky they will have mountains of this stuff to give away im going to build a uncontrhesable stack at least 100 mre like 1000 moc prob make mi own diodes fo it eg valve diode see how i go its going to be very big at least hoping to blow the nuf out of stuff turn thick meltal bars into marbels
