MAPLE model for CW driven N2 laser.

Hello all, I am currently building an N2 laser and I aim to drive it with a 2 stage Cockroft Walton generator powered by 1/2 of a 12kV NST . To that end I've developed a MAPLE worksheet to model various aspects of the design and I thought I'd share. Assuming my formulae are correct, it seems that the predominant factor in the amount of time it takes the laser to charge will be the capacitors used in the CW. The default values of 680pF in the worksheet are because I already have a bunch of 680s lying around. Enjoy and feel free to call me on anything I may have completely missed the boat on here, -Chris

I don't have Maple, but in just looking at the text, apparently you have a voltage multiplier charging a 0.01uF capacitor and you want to see how the voltage across the cap varies with time?

It think it would be easier to just d/l Circuitmaker 2000 (or some other spice program) on emule and simulate it that way.

Yeah, I've just downloaded Pspice student. I just wanted a maple sheet where I could quickly change a variable and execute and see what the final result would be. Also I know Maple a lot more than I know Pspice and I think I'm going to have to make models of several components like the NTE517 HV diodes and these Ukrainian capacitors from scratch.
