I recently acquired a huge ceramic disk capacitor from a 25KW industrial induction heater, and have been unable to find any data on it because I can't identify the manufacturer. It's marked "WPb", and 3000pF 10KV. I'm interested in finding its KVAR or peak and RMS current ratings.
The induction heater was made by Philips, so component parts may be of European origin. Does anyone recognize the manufacturer's mark "WPb"?
Just because of its unique appearance, it would be interesting to use this as the tank cap in a medium-sized VTTC.
Any help identifying the manufacturer is appreciated
