Hi all,
in some challenge I achieved 400,-Sk for buying price of my chose, but I have to buy it till 10.11.2008 07:30
so I have perhaps only one shop (I am able to use some additional money of my own if needed, but not too much, adequate ammount to what I acheved)

I decided to look for some capacitors to make MMC for my SGTC

Parameters

Secondary (no topload yet, planning obtaining some sphere or toroid)
diameter 112 mm
height 717 mm
rounds 2000

from this computed (I hope that corectly)
L = 62,723 mH
C = 10,163 pF
F0 = 199 339 Hz

Primary - solenoid (inner part down, outer part up)
rounds 9
diameter inner 170 mm
diameter outer 480 mm
height 50mm

from this computed
L = 29.647 uH
needed C = 21,982 nF (currently made from cooking aluminium foil and gramophone discs)

and finally my question is, which capacitor from here http://thorn.inshop.sk/inshop/scripts/set.asp?Level=58 is best suitable for me

knowledge of slovak language is advantage during reading this page but for others, this link is currently on capacitors (kondenzator) page
Stránka 1/40 = page 1 of 40 (hope it will be easy to navigate for non slovak speaker)

btw: Ceramic 3kV looks interesting for me but I don't know if ceramic is good capacitor

Thanks in advantage for any help

I forgot my transformer is some in trash found
it gives 14 042 V/50Hz from input 237V/50Hz (ratio about 1:60)
but I don't know current, but readable part of its label says it is dispersive transformer so it could withstand short circuit

Perhaps the 100nf 200volt WIMA capacitors on the top of this Link2 page would be good. Just put as many in series as you need to get the right voltage (which would be called a 'string' of capacitors) and then put as many 'strings' as you need in parallel to get needed capacitance and voltage at the same time.

Thanks, looks little more expensive for my 400,-Sk budget, but if it is only suitable from this shop I'll buy few and store them for time with bigger budget

(Suppose that you mentioned 2000V one not 200)
