Well, I'm a bit stuck with this one - the new interruptor (trigger strobe generator in fact - the coil has her own internal interruptor so needs only strobes that tell her when she needs to fire - the correct on-time is generated internally) project is going slowly towards it's completion (can't find the mounting screws to fix the boards in the case, and with the damn holidays here the shops are closed :( ) - only some minor lashup, a few unsoldered wires and a huge firmware work (lol completion, huh?) are left. But one problem still remains on the way - the font on the screen is barely readable.

I used a ported version of 7.5pts OCR-A-BT bold, but now I'm looking for a good set of proper 8x8 fonts. If anyone knows a good set of them (preferably in Windows format as I already wrote a font convertor for that, but a bitmap should go as well of course) I would be happy to see any help. Only ASCII32~128 are needed.

Check out fonts.c in the project files here Link2

Not the format you requested, but I suppose it shouldn't be too hard to make use of.

Thanks! Actually, there are two problems with it - it's transposed and it's designed for larger LCDs (mine has only 8x25 viewable area to minimize the EM vulnerability of the device). However nothing to worry about - I finally managed to find what I was looking for - a font called DreamCodex, it's an 8x8 font designed for oldschool game developement. In order to be properly transferred into ASM codes it has to be set to 12pts in Windows, tried it already and it looks fine.
