You can try out any other high-current driver, for example, the popular UCCs.

Is the nano tess in any way dangerus?can i burn my self becose of the high frequency? And how many volts do i get form the coil the premiery is 2 turns and the secondary hase 500 T. and how many miliamps?

The output voltage and amperage is entirely set by the input voltage and duty cycle. The higher duty cycle=more current but less output voltage. The 10mm brush discharge looks like 30-30kv at around 1ma at most but the very high frequency will still give you one hell of a RF burn. Take the advice from someone who has got RF burns before. THEY HURT LIKE CRAZY.

i heard that RF burns ar very dangerues becose it makes holes in the skin and it can get infekted. Is ther a risk for thet her?dos it realy giv 1ma?I will run the primary coil on 12V an at abaut 1Amp.This coil Link2 is much bigger an the sparks to.why dosent he get tose RF burns?

Usually a SSTC have a longer on time than a SGTC, so basicly in a SGTC you need to get your skin sposed more time to get rf burns.

The SSTC CW Coils is the coil that hurts more than ever, because you dont have anything interrupting the flux of energy on secondary.

Well, even at low powers a coil running in CW mode can give an RF burn. To be totally non-dangerous, it would have to have a primary voltage too low to be an electrocution hazard (think 40V or less), and the duty cycle would have to be low enough that it cannot burn you.

If you aren't worried about electrocution by the primary and just want to be able to safely touch your coils output, all you need is a relatively low duty cycle. On my large SSTC (18" arcs), I can safely touch the arcs if the interrupter is set low, even though when running CW it can melt 14 gauge copper wire.

I have built nano tess before and it can give you small but painful burns. I am thinking of rebuilding nano tess and using it for plasma etching. However it is a great first coil. However you should put in a variable capacitor for tuning, I did not and tuning was almost impossible.
