Hi,

It looks like you're using a squarewave voltage source to feed the parallel LC tank - this is bad practice, as the tank circuit will represent very low impedance for high frequency harmonics - edges of square waves - due to it's narrowband characteristic.

In other words, no matter that you added the parallel coil, the capacitor in parallel with the output of the bridge is just a short for fast rising and falling edges, causing heavy losses.

Parallel LC tank should properly be fed with a square current source, or a sinewave source at F0 for best performance in this application.

Your circuit could easily be converted into LCLR, with addition of a proper inductor in series with inverter output. A single turn on material 26 iron powder core isn't closely enough.. Just for experiment I'd use an air cored inductor in range of tens to hundreds of uH depending on your voltage.

Feedback is tricky to employ this way but you could probably achieve much better results than my royer circuit even open-loop.
