I live outside of Philadelphia, PA and I am having the worst time ever trying to find a store to purchase components, tools, and the like that isn't Radio Shack! I'm tired of their poor selection and horrific prices, though I don't always have the time to wait for online orders to arrive. Not to mention, shipping can be a tad ridiculous when all you need are a couple of 0.01uF capacitors, if you know what I mean
Is anyone on this board familiar with the greater Philadelphia area and have any advice?
Most of my salvageable equipment is in storage currently as my girlfriend and I currently live with her grandmother. So sourcing otherwise isn't much of an option right now. My "lab" right now consists of a single toolbox crammed with as much stuff as i can fit and still close the lid.
Thanks guys! I hope someone on here might have some advice.

I live in NJ and there is no place to buy electronic surplus exept RS. It looks like you would need to salvage again. I dout philadelphia has any component surplus stores.
