My other hobbies have recently taken my time, but now when the bicycling season seems to be over I'll have a plenty of time for my electronics hobby again
So here's a little project I have started: a LM386 based mono Lo-Fi amplifier & speaker box for my MP3 player. I'll be working on this mostly at school, and I'll post new pictures of the progress every Wednesday when we have our woodworks class. I've already bought the parts for the amplifier, and next Wednesday I'll assemble the amplifier and test it. Then I'll start building the wooden casing for it. I'll try to get a real vintage look, especially notice the pot knob
Schematic coming as soon as I'll get the circuit up and running.

If you want a descent sound quality, I would try to find a better speaker. Try to find some old/used Logitec speakers or similar brand and use that instead.
