Hi all, after Dalus have helped me to get my DRSSTC working with CT Feedback (Thanks for Dalus!) I was getting another problem.
After I turn on the first time, I only get sparks for a few secs, and stop. If I shutdown only the logic power supply, and turn again it gets backs sparks, and stops again. If I keep making that, it get one time that stays on.
I noticed that CT Burden resistor changes that, I am using 135R for a 1:1100 Feedback on the primary.
What that can be? Too high voltage on 74HC14 in? (I have two 1n4148 clamping the input and a 1k 1W resistor in series of the in) I am using too a Interrupter Sincronizer, based on Steve Ward DRSSTC Driver Schematic.

I think your feedback voltage is to low. You should try it without a burden resistor. If the voltage is to high it will be clamped by your diodes. BTW do you have a small cap in series with the 1K ohm resistor?

Yes, 100nF 100V cap. But I dont think it is too low because, with the 10k burden resistor, I was start to happen at 50% input voltage. I changed to 270R it starts the arcs at 75% and get stable at that, but If I try to put at 100% it start to get that thing again, so I put another 270R Resistor in parallel, to get 135R and its more stable than before.
I noticed that the driver really stops to work, all things, normally my GDT make a little scream of the interrupter when no breakout archived, when it stops, the gdt doesnt make any scream. I was thinking about too high voltage on the input, or too high current, that can be?
